Performance Experience
Even before attending college, Justin was involved with as many musical opportunities as possible. He played in Marcellus High School's pit orchestras for Carousel, Pippin, Beauty and the Beast, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat while a student there and spent much of his free time out of school arranging music and making multitrack videos for those arrangements.
Throughout the course of his undergraduate studies, Justin had the opportunity to play in many of the offered ensembles, including the Crane Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Latin Ensemble, Trombone Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Trumpet Ensemble, and the Frackenpohl Honors Brass Quintet. He also played in the pit for the Crane School of Music's production of Mahagonny: Songspiel, a local production of Beauty and the Beast where he doubled on trombone and tuba, and performed in almost a dozen student recitals during his time at Crane, ranging from brass quintets to jazz combos.
Recently, Justin played tenor/bass trombone for The Ridgefield Theater Barn's production of The Prom, and this past summer played french horn for the Covey Theater Company's production of Into the Woods. He is also a member of the newly formed Latin music combo, the Latin Soul Collective.
Justin has had the opportunity to be a regular member of multiple pits, including playing trombone/trumpet/french horn for Center For the Arts of Homer's productions of Gypsy, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; trombone for the Troupers Light Opera Company's productions of H.M.S. Pinafore and Iolanthe; and tenor/bass trombone for Yorktown Stage's productions of Matilda, Shrek, and Hello, Dolly!.

Recording Projects
Justin coordinated the recording of three separate projects while at Crane: the soundtrack he composed to his short film "Grimwood Forest" in November 2019; a trombone quintet album of arrangements of Christmas songs in December 2022; and the soundtrack he composed to his short film "The Warehouse" in April 2023. For all three projects, he contacted musicians, set up recording dates, prepared sheet music, and led the sessions. He mixed the short film soundtracks, and recorded, edited, and mixed the trombone quintet album.
